So I fired up my 2014 Flying Spur this morning and it immediately started idling like a tractor and the check engine light came on flashing at me which is never a good sign on these twin turbo V8s, I limped it back into the garage and now I'm just sitting here panicking about whether it's something simple like a coil pack or if the timing chains are about to make a bid for freedom through the valve covers. I really don't want to take it to the dealer and get a quote that makes me need to sit down, so I've been trying to find an independent shop that actually knows these engines inside and out and isn't just going to throw parts at it based on a generic OBD scan.
