Privacy Concerns Scrubbing Sensitive Data for Good? - jayicod - 05-01-2026

Hi everyone,

I’m currently upgrading the computers in our warehouse to keep our worldwide express shipping operations established and professional.

Before I sell the old laptops, I want to make sure all my jewelry and bag brand’s financial records are completely unrecoverable. I know about wiping drives, but would using a Files Corrupter on specific sensitive folders provide an extra layer of high-quality security?

I want to be 100% sure that no one can ever reconstruct my private business data. Does anyone have experience using these tools for privacy rather than just for making a file look "broken" to a teacher?

Thanks in advance.
